NaturSac biodegradable bags contain additive polyethylene, which is a company that has offices around the globe, has been working with eight (8) university research and development centers worldwide, and has developed an additive that makes polyethylene turn into biodegradable matter by means of biological assimilation.


Hydrophobic polyethylene becomes absorbent 

before it incorporates hydrogen into its functional organic groups. 


>This first phase -- known as abiotic process -- totally dissociates polyethylene.

>The second phase consists in biodegradation of fragments by microorganisms (microbes)

that feed on organic carbon. The components resulting from biodegradation are simply water, carbon dioxide, and biomass.


Consequently these products are not harmful for the environment (soil composition), plants or microorganisms.


Usage :  

Many environmental studies have shown that several types of pollution problems result from traditional plastic packing bag usage. 


These problems include : 


1 - Degradation process lasting several generations (over 380 years)

2 - External pollution due to dispersion in nature

3 - Marine pollution (bags floating or half-immersed in the water)


Given their composition,  do not cause such environmental hazards, but foster continuation of consumer practices in secondary usage of bags for domestic waste disposal.
